Shree Ram Krushna Trust

Agriculture for Growth

Shree Ram Krushna Trust has been promoting cow-based natural farming since 2001, focusing on sustainable agriculture using traditional methods. They cultivate a variety of crops, including vegetables, cereals, and spices, on 100 acres. The Trust manufactures natural fertilizers and pesticides from cow dung, urine, plants, and other organic materials, aiming to reduce chemical use and revitalize soil health. The Trust organizes training camps on natural farming, shares knowledge with farmers, and runs the "DhartiPutra Yojana" to support nearby farmers. They also run an Agricultural Product Value Addition Centre to enhance the value of crops. Their produce is sold through Swadeshi Mall and a shop in Madhapur. The Trust prioritizes the conservation of indigenous cows, with 300 Kankrej cows in their Gaushala. They work on various agricultural initiatives like mixed cropping, seed conservation, and medicinal plant cultivation, all aimed at creating a self-sustaining, eco-friendly farming system.
