Empowering Rural Industries
Shree Ram Krushna Trust is revitalizing India’s rural tradition by focusing on village industries to promote economic self-reliance. They believe these industries, rooted in agriculture and animal husbandry, can empower villages and create employment. The Trust has developed a model that produces 40-50 products from cow dung and urine, including Panchgavya-based medicines, soaps, hair oils, incense sticks, and eco-friendly construction materials like Vedic cement. They also produce natural fertilizers, pesticides, and energy through a cow dung gas plant. Additionally, the Trust has set up an agricultural product value addition center to process grains and manufacture animal feed. All these efforts contribute to the Trust’s goal of rural self-sufficiency and sustainability.
